As I type this, we're 10 days, 8 Hours, 13 minutes, 13, 12, 11 seconds away from Earth Hour 2008.
What is Earth Hour 2008?
On the site, EarthHour.org, the story goes:
"It started with a question: How can we inspire people to take action on climate change?
The answer: Ask the people of Sydney to turn off their lights for one hour."
In 2008, however, Earth Hour is a global event!
So how can one hour of darkness for one day a year make a difference?
The folks at EarthHour.org hope that this global event will inspire people around the world to take action for more than just an hour, one day a year.
