Cartoon: Would Being More Eco-Responsible Matter If Climate Change Were a Hoax?

Even IF global warming and climate change were a hoax, would the Copenhagen Climate Conference and other environmental negotiations still be worth it?

As far as we're concerned...oh yeah!

When it comes to living green, I think that every little step counts. I like to share FUN, simple, creative, easy, and inexpensive ways to begin (or continue) living green!

  • New paradigm weather forecast http://bit.ly/7ULSi6 yields 4 year long weather forecast http://tinyurl.com/yaumjrt

Gives insight into the real driving forces behind the weather / climate so that CO2 changes can be viewed as more plant food, instead of pollutant.

It'd be like the Bush admin lying about Iraq's WMD, right? Except this lie would actually help the world, instead of Evil Cheney's wallet.

For those that are still in agreement with the global warming legislation and treaties being pushed... have you honestly looked at the arguments against? Or do you just call those that oppose your thinking idiots and leave it at that? You may agree that those who can will argue with ideas and clear thoughts based on learning - those who cannot argue from facts tend to simply denegrate and dismiss those who oppose their view point. Time and again I see that the ones putting forth fact based arguments on these blogs are those opposed to the global warming legislations & treaties .One of the posters on here offered some pretty good material: http://newsofinterest.tv/global_warming/index.php -- will you read it with an open mind?

Time and again I see those that are infavor of government action are simply denigrating and dismissing the opposing side of the debate.

Speaking of debates: why is Al Gore afraid to debate those that oppose his ideas on this issue? He's been invited to do so many times. And did you know that the UK courts found multiple large errors in his Inconvenient Truth documentary? Did you know the UK will not allow it to be shown in their schools with out accompianing disclaimers?

Take a look at this summary article describing the true objectives of climate change legislation.. you find find that the biggest hoax are claims that the legislation and treaties will have a beneficial effect on the world. They are designed to empower an unelected world government which is run by private banks, and they actually have little or nothing to do with helping the environment.

I believe that what people should be upset about if it is a hoax is the fact that this climate summit was originally designed to push out legislation that would supersede the Constitutions of the countries that were a part of it. Also, the inevitable tax increases that will be attached onto services and products that produce carbon dioxide is another big one.

When we look at historic data obtained from ice cores and carbon dating, we see that CO2 does not cause an increase in temperature; rather, an increase in temperature causes CO2 levels to increase.

I'm all for cleaning up our air from poisonous chemicals and creating new jobs, but this whole notion that carbon dioxide is evil has got to go.
