Gas prices aren’t even close to the $4+ a gallon we saw last summer and fall, but does that mean we don’t still want to get better gas mileage?
Of course we do!
I invested a mere $.75 — 3 little quarters — in my car this past week and got an astounding 7 miles more per gallon!
Now that’s a great return of investment!
I’ll be the 1st to admit that I’m not always the most responsible vehicle owner.
As it turns out in this case (and most other cases of vehicle neglect), it ended up costing me A LOT of money over the past few weeks.

I put some air in my tires!
Keeping the optimal air pressure in your tires is probably the simplest, easiest, and most ridiculously cheap way to make a BIG difference in your gas mileage.
Yep, I spent $.75 at the gas station and watched my gas mileage go from 18.5 mpg on my last fill up to 25.5 mpg on this one!
