It’s here…and the rumors were true!
Apple unveiled the newly updated MacBook Pro that we featured and discussed here at The Fun Times Guide to Living Green at the beginning of May.
What updates, even green ones, does it tout? A lot, actually.
MacRumors and Crave both featured stories about the update today.
The shroud was lifted from the new MacBook Pro to reveal all of the expected and desired upgrades!

These upgrades include:
- LED backlit display (HUGE power saver and reportedly mercury free)
- Brand new Intel Core 2 Duo (Santa Rosa) chipset
- A big time graphics card update: GeForce 8600M GT 128MB or 256MB
