Living Green

Well speaking of lunch boxes, safeness, handy container, I prefer the stainless steel in happytiffin.com because it is made of the highest stainless steel material in India. Its very safe to use, eco-friendly and odorless. Usually, plastic containers can cause bad effects on our health especially when it was made from unknown material which can leave an odor when after cleanse. But a stainless steel can sustain the freshness of the food inside.

I am so concerned about what goes into my children's bodies these days. The increase in rates of cancer and allergies in this country is alarming. I buy as many organics as possible and want to send their healthy lunches to school in healthy containers that do not leach chemicals into their food. Lunchsense makes sense in a world that doesn't always make sense. Thank you for helping me to preserve my children's health.

My son is starting preschool this summer and I have been looking for a "green" lunchbox alternative. I'm a teacher and am so sick of seeing all the waste...in fact, our school has a "no waste" policy for lunches...but parents don't always follow it. I want to start my son off with a "green" attitude and maybe it will spread!:)

wow! i was looking for waste free lunch options when i came upon this contest... my oldest will be in kindergarten next year and i am looking for eco friendly options for sending his snack/lunch to school. lunchsense is one website I looked at... their products would definitely make it easy for me to pack a waste free lunch. i would also include cloth napkins and have been looking at reusable sandwich/snack bags on etsy.

We are trying our best to reduce our carbon footprint, but I am failing miserably when it comes to packing lunches. I waste way too many plastic bags. We love leftovers and these containers can be used in the microwave - then into the dishwasher when we get home. Yes, I would certainly be greener and eating healthier with on of these lunchboxes. it would help because I would make sure to pack my lunch and not buy more caloric less nutritious lunches

I reuse my baggies now but with this - I wouldn't have to use them at all. Plus no more grocery sacks as a lunchbag!

This would help be me both greener and healthier because I would stop bringing in my over packaged frozen meals that are partially dihydrated.

Well I think it would help me be more eco conscience if I had the Lunchbox as I'd think of 'green' everytime i looked at it or used it.

I work in a retail store and am the only person there, so I don't get an official lunch break. I often don't pack a lunch and end up ordering hummus and pita chips from a nearby restaurant which, of course, comes in a styrofoam box. With this, I could either pack my own lunch more easily, or take the box down to the restaurant & have them put the take-away in it. Green, and green!

DH and I used to take lunch to work almost every day, but we've gotten lazy. A new lunchbox would help that. I know homemade food has got to be healthier (and cheaper) than dining out. Also, we don't have recycling at work, so disposable containers just go to the landfill. The lunchbox would mean I'm not wasteful!

My husband works 7:00 pm - 7:00 am so he takesa meal and a snack. I hate putting food in baggies and the containers are clumsy, this would make a perfect way to carry it all and will get rig of the tacky looking plastic grocery bags he uses to carry his food in.

I've been using lunch boxes for my son so he can eat organic food, and I have been looking into better options for his box to avoid lead and bpa, but also to have safe containers that fit well together so I can get rid of plastic and foil wraps alltogether as well. I didn't know this one and it looks great!

I wouldn't have to carry my lunches in plastic bags (I only occasionally get bags from stores when I have forgotten my reuseable ones and they are then recycled after they get holes.)

We don't buy ziplocks or trashbags. Using paper grocery bags for trash is a great way to recycle them. I pack my lunch for work and would love to have a Lunchsense lunch box.

I'd actually never considered portion size being an environmental issue before, but now that I think about it this is absolutely correct! I'll admit to often throwing away leftovers, so the portion-control help would probably be my favorite part of the lunch box :-D

Wow, great product. I was surprised to find out about the lead content in lunchboxes. I have a liver condition so I try to avoid any type of toxin in my food or food containers so this great. I love the efficiency of the design.

For work I eat lunch at the cafeteria or at a fast food place, and the amount of garbage that is generated is large - wrappers, containers, cups, etc. This would help by reducing that garbage.

No more plastic bags and it own "placemat".

I would use this bag to pack lunches for my husband when he goes to work for me and/or lunches to share with my baby boy when we go to the park every day. I'm particularly excited to hear the lids don't leak with salad dressing or soups...that is always a hassle!

My daughter is at the age (11) where she is learning about the importance of "green" and what she can do to help the planet. I would love to be the perfect role model and send her to school with this eco-friendly lunch box everyday - and also tell her friends all about it!

I have not found a "green enough" lunch box till date, even in natural food stores, and hence carry my food in random bags which are not meant to be lunch boxes. It would be convenient, while looking cool, to finally have this!

I could continue to bring my lunch to work but skip the ziploc bags and foil - reducing the generated waste.

I'm trying to eliminate the use of ziploc bags in my household altogether, and this lunchbox would help further my progress.

This is pretty cool! Every step for each person toward helping the planet may, when added together , help save our planet and ourselves.

I would be more apt to pack lunch for my hubby. Which in turn would help the environment because it would keep my husband from ordering lunch out with all those plastic containers getting thrown out. It would also be more healthy for him!

I've been taking my lunch for years. I recently went vegan so now it's pretty much the only option. This looks like a great lunch box. I think the non-BPA containers rock. I use regular ones now. Honestly, I would probably give this one to my wife if I won and buy myself the large size.
