...here is True Green at Work!

The original version is Australian based, but the U.S. version is available from The National Geographic Shop.

The book is 144 pages and contains 100 color photographs and illustrations.

The description says the book is, "the definitive do-it-yourself manual is for the working world--businesses, workers, and day-to-day life at the office."

I don't know about you, but I'm all about some DIY!!

Why is this book so helpful? Because we spend at least 8 of about our 16 waking hours (not to mention commute time) at the office or place of business.

How to Go Green at Work:

My personal favorite tip to green my workplace (which is my home, since I own my own home-based business) is to digitize my office.

I use screenshots, a scanner, and external hard drives to go as paperless as I [realistically] can.

How do you live green at work?

I input orders straight into our computer system. I know that sounds so easy...but most everyone else here writes them down, then inputs them. I took a bit of practice but I can input them in as fast as the customer can give them. Saves me time and over the past several years, I'm sure many trees.

Love it when going green helps me in the process
